Speed Up Loading Adobe Acrobat (very fast)

This is a trick that I saw while surfing the net. It works 100%. One of the better tricks I found out while surfing.

Do u get irritated when acrobat reader takes 5/10 seconds to load when you want to open a pdf document. There is a way to speed up the loading.

1. Go to the installation folder of acrobat reader
(C:\program files\adobe\acrobat\reader\.. whatever)
2. Move all the files and folders from the "plugins" directory to the "Optional" directory. (I repeat.. cut and paste the files NOT copy & paste).

Also make sure that acrobat reader is not open else it will lock the files and not allow you to move the files).

Now your acrobat reader will load very fast and almost as good as notepad..

DEATHSTROKE!!!

One of my favorite DC villains. He's not as well known as Joker or Luthor but he's as he's as badass as any of them villains. He's got the intellect of Batman yet has the reflexes of a Captain America, but he's a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal. In a good day (good day for him, that is) he can take down Bats and Superman.

Supahmen!

These two Superman pics was supposed to be up for auction for the Tsunami victims a couple of years back, but due to botched up correspondence, it wasn't used. I eventually used them as part of my portfolio.

A fellow artist colored the 2nd pic. I'll upload that one too once I find it.

Some old stuff: X-Men

I did this a couple of years ago for my portfolio. I tried to do a montage of all the X-Men characters and I redesigned most of their costumes.

Ultimate Thor: Animated

I drew almost the whole cast of the Ultimates in this style. I'm short of probably a few characters. Thor and Cap are my favorites of the bunch.

Ultimate Cap: Animated

I did this piece some time ago. I was inspired so much by looking at various artists who draw with an animation type of sensibility. Since one is forced to simplify his art to emphasize the figures most striking characteristics, it's one of the most fun to do, yet complicated at times. While learning this style, I've had to unlearn some things and realize some bad habits. I've since had so much fun drawing characters in this style. Now, the subtleties I have learned in this style, I can apply to a more comic book or a more realistic style.

The Mighty Thor

I thought of doing an animated style Thor. I'm liking how top-heavy I did this. He's go humongous arms, but he's a god so go figure. Thor's my current favorite character. I feel that the current Thor, with Odin's powers, is probably one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. Writers hype up certain characters mentioning that they will win against Thor. Thor is one bad-a$$ mo'fo! Superman, The Sentry and even the Rampagin Hulk can't hold Thor's jockstrap.

Mighty Thor Process

Here's my basic process in doing digital stuff. First, I do the initital sketch, I refine it, I then finalize the line art, I then lay flat colors on the image, Lastly, I render it. I'm playing around with different things now. It's pretty fun.

Exploring New Stuff

I'm a total fan of the new Thor that's being done right now by Marvel. I think I will go against the majority, but I really like Thor's new look. Very snazzy looking and cool. It's a great simplistic design. I'm doing this animated Thor look. I'll be posting it as soon as it's done. This is a pic of what I basically use for doing art.

New Art

Here is a piece that I colored of something I have penciled around 4 years ago. I started out and developed a style that some people call a " western-style-manga". It's somewhat of a fusion of the art sensibilities of western comics and Japanese manga. Some famous artists who have this style are Joe Madureira, Jeff Scott Campbell and Adam Warren. A western comic style with the energy of Japanese manga.

Joe Madureira was a major influence for me. Almost all my earlier art looked like his work. Yup, I was a clone. Then I explored stuff that totally different from this style. More of an animation type art, not many details but emphasizes on motion and strength of style. I've also delved digital coloring, which is another field where there is unlimited growth. Now, I'm in a stage where I have enough confidence to merge the little I know of every aspect of what I've learned into my own unique style. I'm in the process of building myself a decent portfolio. Exploration is done, major work is next....

Marvel Masterpieces Sketchcards

Here are more sketchcards. I've seen the Storm and the Bullseye being sold on Ebay. I love the Storm mohawk. The Wolverine turned-out to be one of my faves.

Marvel Masterpieces Sketchcards

Here are 8 of the 199 (hehehe somebody missed one) cards I did for the Masterpiece set by Marvel. It was really fun doing them. I got to explore different techniques, styles and approaches to the Marvel characters. The schedule given was pretty tight, which was majorly my fault, but I was able to finish them on time. There a couple of cards which messed up due to too much experimentation but for the most part I am very proud of the batch I did. There are a couple of favorites that I have, the Spidermen I did, were particular favorites. I've seen a couple of my cards popping out on Ebay and some of the card forums. I still have to see the good cards that I did. I will post all of my cards here just in case somebody got lucky and snatched one of them and needed confirmation or reference.
