Here is a piece that I colored of something I have penciled around 4 years ago. I started out and developed a style that some people call a " western-style-manga". It's somewhat of a fusion of the art sensibilities of western comics and Japanese manga. Some famous artists who have this style are Joe Madureira, Jeff Scott Campbell and Adam Warren. A western comic style with the energy of Japanese manga.Joe Madureira was a major influence for me. Almost all my earlier art looked like his work. Yup, I was a clone. Then I explored stuff that totally different from this style. More of an animation type art, not many details but emphasizes on motion and strength of style. I've also delved digital coloring, which is another field where there is unlimited growth. Now, I'm in a stage where I have enough confidence to merge the little I know of every aspect of what I've learned into my own unique style. I'm in the process of building myself a decent portfolio. Exploration is done, major work is next....
